To complement your musical activities we offer the following facilities every Saturday morning. They are staffed substantially by volunteers - please contact us to join the team.
Instrument surgery
If you need a small repair on the instrument you play at the Music Centre, you may use this service free of charge - apart from the cost of any parts needed.
Shop
For supplies of basic music consumables such as reeds, rosin, stationery. Music books and theory papers can be ordered for you.
Coffee bar
Relax with tea, coffee and biscuits.
Toasted sandwich bar
Delicious snacks to sustain you.
Library
Music available for hire.
Instrument hire
The Centre has a wide range of instruments for hire.
Events
A range of concerts is organised during the year including workshops, concerts, social outings and musical tours.
On enrolment morning
Representatives from different music shops are available to arrange instrument hire or purchase. Sweets and refreshments are for sale.
Crèche facilities 9.00am - 1.00pm
For parents wishing to join classes, we offer FREE crèche facilities for children between 2 and 6 years of age. There is limited provision for under 2s - please enquire. We have all the usual crèche/playgroup activities - painting, picture-making, toys, water & sand play. We introduce music into the crèche from 11.00 am - 11.30 am. The children sing, play percussion instruments and enjoy musical games.
